Qianlong-Periode (1736-1795)Elegant geschwungenes Zepter, dekoriert mit den Acht Buddhistischen Symbolen (ba jixiang) auf einem geometrischen Hintergrund: der ruyi-Kopf mit Baldachin, Lotosblüte, Vase und Doppelfisch, das Mittelteil mit Muschel, Endlosknoten und Ehrenschirm, auf dem Endteil ein flammendes Rad. Die drei eingerahmten Partien durch Lotosblüten- und Ranken getrennt und mit einem archaisierenden Muster unter dem Kopf. Qianlong period (1736-1795)An elegantly curved red lacquer ruyi sceptre carved with the Eight Buddhist Elements (bajixiang): the ruyi head with baldachin, lotus flower, vase and twin-fish, the central reserve with the conch shell, endless knot and parasol, and the flaming wheel at the end. The three framed reserves separated by lotus flowers and tendrils and an archaic pattern below the ruyi head. The sides decorated with a meander pattern and the reverse with a continuous swastika pattern. Restored. Length 41.8 cmProvenanceCollection A. + V.
