A RARE BRONZE PICTURE OF RAKAN HANDAKA SONJA, EDO PERIOD
Japan, around 1750-1800. The massive plaque with incised, chiseled and embossed depiction of the Rakan Handaka Sonja accompanied by his dragon in high relief, surrounded by craggy rocks, mystic clouds and the moon in the background. Two-character artist signature and seal in high relief near the left edge. Fine old Elmwood frame.
