Description: VINCENZO ERRANTE STORIA DELL'IMPERO OSMANO DA OSMAN ALLA PACE DI CARLOWITZ ROMA FORZANI E C. TIPOGRAFI DEL SENATO 1882 Edition of 1882 of this work about the history of Osman Empire written by Vincenzo Errante (1813-1891) writer and politician from Palermo author of short novels in verses, tragedies, booklets. Errante took part to the riots of '48. The work is made up fo two volumes and it is complete. Osmans were a family of imperial origin which lived in ancient time in Tortona, Ancona, Tolentino and Recanati and discendant from turkish families. They began to live in Recanati from 1661. The work describes the descendant of the family from Osman to Mustafa II or the peace of Carlowitz. Dedication of the author without signature in the title page. In good conditions and complete Soft cover with handwritten label in the spine in good general conditions slightly worn in the edges and spine. Binding in fair conditions with cracks. Inside pages are in good conditions with foxings. Tome I: worming in the right edge from pag. 361 until the end. Little missing part in the title page. In 8. Dim. 19,5x12,5 cm. Pp. 403+(1), 399+(3).
