A Chinese porcelain saucer dish, Kangxi period (1662-1722), with scalloped rim, painted with a central circular reserve of flowers in a garden with a butterfly above, the lappet border painted with flowering plants, the base with painted leaf within double concentric circles, 10?in. (26.7cm.) diameter; together with another Kangxi period dish, painted with a dense floral reserve with central peony bloom, within a floral border, 10 7/8in. (27.7cm.) diameter. *Condition: - Scalloped dish: Chipping all around foot with one larger chip. Two rim chips, one with old 1in. hairline, and some glaze fritting to rim.- Duveen dish: Very good with no faults.
