Description: Three plates in porcelain from East India Company, Famille Rose, Qing Dynasty, Qianlong Era m. 1750, belonging to the Doble Pavo Real Service. This service was taken by King Joao VI from Portugal to Brazil in 1807 when he fled the Napoleonic Invasion, being one of the best-known models in Brazil and Portugal. In 1890 the service of King Joao VI was scattered due to the auction organized by Joaquín Dias dos Santos in Rio de Janeiro. Since the auction house suffered a fire and the files were lost, it is impossible to determine exactly which pieces were owned by the king and to differentiate them from all the others that were produced during the same period. Diameter: 23 cm
