An 18th century silver salver
maker's mark 'JM'(?) stamped twice, circa 1760 Shaped-circular form, with a shell and gadroon border, the surface chased with fruiting vine decoration, on four claw and ball feet, engraved with the arms of RIND impaled by another, diameter 46.5cm, weight 76oz.

The sinister arms are possibly those of BUSHELL, BUSSELL, FAIRLIE, HILL, HOVENELL, HOWNYLL, HULL.
