The wine coolers are after the eighteenth-century design by the influential French architect, designer and goldsmith, Juste-Aurèle Meissonnier. His design for a single-bottle wine cooler was originally executed in 1723 for Louis-Henri de Bourbon, Prince de Condé, who was Prime Minister under Louis XV.
