Meiji eraComprising: a pedestal-form stand, the cover with pierced designs spacing hats and scrolls, the column with shell-shaped apertures on a ground of plants and grasses, 18cm high; a large circular form example raised on flaring foot, decorated with paulownia leaves and scrolling vines, 14cm high; a miniature stand of circular form and raised on flaring foot, lacquered with a three-leaf mon and scrolling vines in gold on black, 6cm high; together with a matching straight-sided jug, 5.5cm high; and a similarly decorated sake cup with red lacquer interior and on high foot, 12cm diameter.(5).
