Qing DynastyThe detachable top in two halves with one side bearing pierced cash symbols, the vessel below with original lead liner and bound to the exterior with two rows of 'faux-bamboo' bronze bands and fitted to two sides with twin pairs of ring handles, all raised on a robust base section with curving supports ending in ball and claw feet and joined by a floor stretcher. 56.5cm square, 70.5cm high.
