Description: bronze bell with copper handle, Tibet, 16th century, Size: 17 cm Handle is surmounted with half vajra, with eight points and central part is ornated with one crowned face atop bumpa abundance vase (tib). Bell’s head is decorated with eight lotus petals framing eight seed-syllables. Upper part of waist is encircles with rdo-rje or horizontal vajra surrounded by two beaded rows. Central waist is encircled with band of monster heads “glory mask” and garlands. One double vajra, also between two beaded circles and encircling yoke.
