An Edwardian diamond and pearl tiara, circa 1905, the rose cut and old cut diamond set foliate sprays with pearl flower heads and buds, approximately 1.38 carats total, the central section 3.6cm long, 12cm wide, on a metal frame, the tiara is removable from the setting and can be worn as a necklace, with an associated belcher link chain, in original red leather box with gilt tooled inscription M.D from G.H.D. 1909, with silk lining stamped C.Sewell Jeweller&C. 4 Davies St. Berkeley Square. W.The tiara was a gift from George Herbert Duckworth to his wife, Lady Margaret Herbert (1870-1958), a daughter of Henry Herbert, 4th Earl of Carnarvon.
