It also got nicknamed the Thunderbird after the U.S Air Force's aerobatic squadron requested them from Rolex. Rolex even capitalized on this and referred to the Turn-O-Graph as the Thunderbird in North American advertising. Production of the Turn-O-Graph ceased in 2011.
