During the first four years of production, the dials came with red writing on the dial. This makes them highly sought after among collectors. There were seven variations of the dial and this example comes with the Mk VI dial. This dial can be identified by having feet first and closed 6s. It was common for these red dials to be replaced during a service, so it is not known how many are left in circulation.
