Description: Indo-Persian Tabriz rug was hand knotted in Kashmir of 100% silk and has 280+ knots per square inch. The remnants of the Indian Government certification patch are visible on the backside of the rug. This rug is 15+ years old, has medium silk piles and is in “like new” condition. This rug was acquired from U.S. Diplomats who purchased it in Iraq, and kept it wrapped up in storage for 10 years. Beautiful colors with excellent quality. No holes or repairs. Gorgeous design but not a perfect rectangle. Clean and ready to be enjoyed. It has a recent, independent insurance replacement appraisal of $1,100.00 by a well-established rug company in St Louis.
