Painted on the rim in red and gilding with a thin looped border, each loop containing a tiny florette. The central panel is encircled by the 'demi wave' pattern used as an inner band on 'Fitzhugh border porcelain between about 1780 and 1785. the panel contains only a title (of the owner) but no date: 'Nawab, Amir of all the Amirs, Taraz-el-Molk, Behadur (powerful)'.
