Watercolor / Gouache on cloth, large depiction of three Courts of Hell. We believe these to be King Biancheng, King Pingdeng, and King Zhuanlun, each with attendants and writing judgments on scrolls. Below the Kings are souls being tortured in indescribable ways including pulled by dogs, snakes, boiling eyes, sawed in half, animals with human heads and much more. Sight size 30.5" x 75.5", framed 42.25" x 85". Condition: Some flack and loss, appears to have at least one spot of restoration on Pingdeng scroll, not examined out of frame.
