ROLEX GMT Master II, Ref. 126710BLNR A Stainless Steel Wristwatch with Bracelet, Circa 2019 Dial: Black Caliber: cal. 3285 automatic, 31 jewels Case: stainless steel, screw-down back Closure: stainless steel Rolex Jubilee bracelet and folding clasp Dimensions: 40 mm, bracelet circumference approx. 180 mm Signed: case, dial and movement Case numbers: ref. 126710BLNR / serial: 518T2130 The Rolex GMT-Master II ref. 126710BLNR is easily the hottest new release of 2019, and it represents an update to the highly popular and recently discontinued black and blue “Batman” version from the previous generation. The GMT-Master II collection received a major update in 2018, when Rolex first unveiled the red and blue “Pepsi” version of the ref. 126710, ushering in the next generation of Rolex GMT watches. Powered by the new Caliber 3285 movement, the ref. 126710 benefits from an increased power reserve of 70 hours, while a refined case and redesigned Jubilee bracelet help to further differentiate it from Rolex’s other sports watches. This year at Baselworld 2019, Rolex released the GMT-Master II 126710BLNR, which caused multi-year waitlists the morning that it was announced. The new ref. 126710BLNR retains all of the same updates and improvements that first made an appearance the previous year, but embraces the black and blue “Batman” color profile that gives the watch its comic book hero nickname. This Rolex ref. 126710BLNR is a fantastic example of the most recent stainless steel GMT-Master II that was just unveiled this year at Baselworld. The case and bracelet appear to be entirely unpolished and are free from any significant marks and blemishes. Additionally, this ref. 126710BLNR GMT-Master II is still accompanied by its original box, hang tags, and papers, which correspond to a purchase date of May, 2019. Sotheby’s Watches Department is pleased to offer Condition Reports to potential purchasers.
