“Li Shutong” was a monk and stays at the Hupao Monastery with “Hongyi” as his Buddhist name.
“Li Shutong” who born in Tientsin, China, Han Nationality, initiated Chinese contemporary art education, art expression and art advertisement, however, he never proceeded with them.
As a legendary person in China's modem history, “Li Shutong” was closely related to poetry and mystery.
弘一法师(AD1880-1942),原名李叔同,他是中国新文化运动的前驱,卓越的艺术家、教育家、思想家、革新家,是中国近现代佛教史上最杰出的一位高僧,又是国际上声誉甚高的知名人士。
