A PAIR OF MUGHAL STYLE AGATE BOWLS, QING
China, 18th-19th century. Of circular form, the extremely thin and translucent body carved with two bands of chrysanthemum petals in high relief, flaring rim, on a raised circular foot. Fine, slightly bluish honey color.
Provenance: English private collection.
Condition: Excellent condition with few almost invisible natural fissures in the mineral and microscopic nibbling to base.
