Description:
A JADE BI DISC, NEOLITHIC
Northwest China, circa 2000 BC or earlier. The smooth disc with a central aperture drilled from one side, the opaque stone of pale green color with brown and buff inclusions.
Provenance: China-Bohlken, Berlin, 1941 (a copy of the invoice is accompanying this lot). Adalbert Colsman (1886-1978), Langenberg, Germany, acquired from the above. Thence by descent. Adalbert Colsman was a well-known German entrepreneur and the chairman of the Folkwang Museumsverein in Essen as well as a personal friend of Emil Nolde.
Condition: Extensive weathering, wear, traces of use and losses to the edges. Superb patina!

來源:德國Langenberg 的Adalbert Colsman (1886-1978)先生于1941年購於柏林 China-Bohlken中國古玩藝廊。隨拍品附當年的購買發票。自此一直保留于現收藏中。Adalbert Colsman 曾是德國知名企業家,也曾是Essen市Folkwang 博物館協會主席,還是Emil Nolde的好友。
品相:嚴重風化、使用痕跡,邊沿処有磕損。包漿極好。
