A SPINACH GREEN JADE BRUSH WASHER, XI
China, 18th century. The washer is elegantly carved in form of a curled lotus leaf, the base with a thick stem from which two yet unopened leaves spring. Naturalistic veins rise to the incurved rim.
Provenance: Hungarian private collection. By repute in the same family since ca. 1960.
Condition: Excellent condition with no damages whatsoever.

The translucent stone is of an intense green color suffused with black inclusions.
