Painted in rich shades of underglaze blue on the upper globular section with a scholar playing music instrument with young attendants in a garden setting amid flowering leafy plants and rocks, the narrow waist encircled by cloud scroll, the lower section further decorated with two scholars and young attendants in an outdoor setting, all between a ruyi collar band at shoulder and lappet band at the foot, the base with Lung-Ch'ing mark, 18.2 inch high.
