AN UNUSUAL VIETNAMESE/ANNAMESE BLUE AND WHITE DRAGON BOAT FORM CENSER, POSSIBLY 15TH/16TH CENTURY, modeled as a roaring dragon with pierced open mouth above scaly sides and scrolling tail ship form body, centering a circular shields trimmed deck enclosing a three tiered pavilion with bearded sage elders gazing from reticulated balconies, height: 8", width: 7", depth: 3 1/4". Condition: Good condition for shipwreck porcelain artifacts including but not limited to expected dulled surface glaze, marine residue in crevices throughout and normal kiln firing flaws.
