tusk section inlaid with the use of semi precious stones, shell, stained ivory and lacquer work to depict a beautiful scene of a hawk perched upon its perch, surrounded by native flora, the opposite side depicting a hawk sat on a tree branch amongst native flora and other birds, artist signed to a red carved tablet seal, the top of the tusk section with a mounted silver filigree work mount, the base cast solid silver in the form of crashing waves, the tusk alone approx 40cm high x 17cm wide, overall 52cm high x 25cm wide.
