White glazed porcelain figure of a child holding a spray of chrysanthemum flowers with cobalt blue leaves in his hand by Sakaida Kakiemon XII (1878–1963). The milk white glaze called nigoshide which was not continued at the end of the Edo period was rediscovered by Sakaida Kakiemon XII in 1953. Bottom mark: Kakiemon. In original box.
