Chinese Manchu tian-huang imperial-style seal, of square section and surmounted by a high-relief carving of a chilong playing with a pup, one side incised with the legend 'Long Yu zhi bao' (possibly Empress Dowager Long Yu 1868-1913, consort to the Guangxu Emperor), the opposing side with four lines of Manchu, the seal base with further Manchu and Chinese characters, the polished stone of rich yellow coloration, with a carved hardwood stand, all together with a hardwood box.
