18TH C. GE-TYPE PORCELAIN BURSH REST ON STAND. The brush rest have unique shape of five peaks curved upward, resembled the stone mountain peaks, higher to the center. All covered in a pale-grayish-celadon glaze, with a single network of wide dark grey crackles along the surfaces, and darker lining to the top of rim and neck interior with olive-greenish hue. The foot rim remains unglazed, revealed deep-brown ground with speckles firing marks. The shape is uniformly proportioned. Displayed upon a carved hardwood stand. Mark on base, a six blue seal script -ZhuanShu- characters reign mark, QianLong Reign Period Of Great Qing.
