Late Qing, of archaistic jue form, the deep 'U'-shaped body raised on three splayed legs of triangular section tapering towards the feet, with a broad flaring mouth surmounted by a pair of capped post, covered overall in light celadon glaze, decorated to the main body with taotie. Height 5 1/2 in.
