A Japanese Wood and Ivory Group in the manner of Miya-O Eisuke, depicting two street entertainers, one leans forward under the weight of a box in a shawl over his shoulders, the other leans back as he sings, he holds a fan before him and a daisho tucked into his obi, details are in gold lacquer with inlay of mother-of-pearl, abalone shell and horn, mounted on a typical Miya-O style wood base with scrolling gold lacquer karakusa around the frieze, height overall 33cms, Meiji Period. ?
