A group of largely Indian and Turkish textiles, 18th -19th centuries and later, comprising: a run of Turkish pink embroidery approximately 304cm long x 22.5cm wide (with Christies lot ticket, lot 154, 19th October 2001); three various Indian Ottoman panels; a Japanese printed cotton; a European waistcoat made from 18th century Chinese embroidery; two Indian deep plum velvet jackets embellished with gold embroidery; two European 18th century priest Chasubles; two late Thai cloth paintings; a brown kaftan and other items Provenance: Property of an English collector, mainly buying in Portobello market, and various places in London, in the early 1950's and 1960's.
