Description: Late Period, 30th. Dynasty, Ptolemaic, ca. 350 B.C. An interesting medicinal stele fragment, believed to help cure disease and wounds. The depiction of Horus as a child would be touched, or drenched in water, this water was then used to drink or to cleanse wounds. The back of this stele is inscribed with hieroglyphic texts to speed recovery.
