Composite set made of 2 copies of the first edition of a Dutch topographical work by the Dutch lawyer & historian Matthaeus Brou?rius van Nidek (1677-1743) illustrated with beautiful engravings by Hendrik de Leth (1703-1766) depicting various country houses (incl. plans & views of their gardens) in the area of Beverwijk, Bloemendaal, Castricum, Santpoort & Haarlem. – With defects (bindings sl. dam./ worn, occ. sl. marg. waterstained, fold. map with large tear in the middle (repaired with paper on verso), occ. sl. foxed/ browned, the engravings at the end of the text-vol. removed), but nevertheless in an acceptable conditon.
