It was created to pay homage to the hereditary falconry lifestyles of the Mongolian nobility. The stylized dragon/Phoenix motif on this pierced wristguard is also typical of the Royal Qidan. Extensively analyzed by multiple disciplines. An extensive analysis was performed by Stoetzer Inc. They are almost certainly the leader in stone and precious metal tool marking, construction techniques and patination in the USA.
