35 cm high, 39 cm wide Shiva is one of the most important deities in Hinduism, considered creator, destroyer of evil and transformer. His depiction may be the benevolent one of a yogi (ascetic) who lives isolated on Mount Kailash, in the Himalayas, in the company of his wife Parvati and his two sons Ganesha and Kartikeya, or the fearsome one who kills the demons.
