The surface he is sitting on is rounded like a hill. The back of the throne is flattened while the back of the Buddha is executed completely. Two adorants are missing, probably formerly standing on the two attached stilts in the front. The Buddha is dressed in a robe thrown over his left shoulder. His face is smiling gently, the eyes are downcast but slightly open. A small vase decorates the top of his ushnisha. The mudra here means "calling the earth to witness" or "touching the earth".
