The then gallery owner showed works by Zangs in exhibitions. Herberte Zangs had received the Vincent-van Volkmer Prize in France in 1960 and had bought a house in Cucuron from the prize money. The present works are shown together in the catalogue: Phenomenon. Herbert Zangs. Arbeiten aus den Jahren 1947-2003. Herbert Zangs has been awarded several national and international prizes for his work.
