Heinz Isler was one of the most important Swiss structural engineers of the 20th century. His specialty was shell structures, mostly executed in prestressed concrete. More than 1,400 planned and executed buildings make him the most important shell component builder of the 20th century. Many of his 'Isler bowls' are still preserved and impress with their still futuristic and light appearance.
