彷汉式 高22.5cm/宽28cm/重7.5kg
铜熊呈坐姿,昂首张口,双目前视,短耳竖起。前肢左右伸展,后肢自然弯曲。背后一中空漏斗形直筒,应作为桌腿固定用。品相等级A/B。配木座。

China. In the style of the Han dynasty, but later. Bronze with dark patina and earth adherence. The word 'bear' (xiong) is in Chinese a homonym for courage and strength. At the back a funnel-shaped tube, which could have served as a holder for a table or a screen. Weight 7.5kg, height 22.5cm, width 28cm, depth 19cm. Fitting wooden base, damaged. Condition A/B. Provenance: -German private collection. -As stated by previous owner acquired in the 1920s in China. Published: -L. Hajek/W.
