Description: A PAIR OF CHINESE EXPORT PADOUK CHAIRS, SECOND QUARTER 18TH CENTURY, AFTER A DESIGN BY GILES GRENDEY, each with foliate carved reserve to the crest rail above a splat carved with pendant foliage and scrolls, shaped drop-in seats, raised on cabriole legs carved with shells and pendant foliage, terminating in ball and claw feet.
