Undoubtedly one of the finest pairs of Paris porcelain vases I've ever come across. Made of fine pure white porcelain the bodies are decorated with a brilliant marbled effect done in three registers of orange, the white bands of the vases are decorated with the finest gilding, executed in a scale pattern along with leafs and scroll work. The body of the vases are decorated with a loosely tied bow, with the monogram initials of "S de F" within the loops of the bow, all executed in the finest gilt done by a most professional hand. The loop style handles are attached by what appears to be the face of a warrior wearing a pointed helmet like crown. The vases are in excellent condition throughout. The vases measure 7.75 X 5"
