44 cm x 30 cm. Hardwood. Goddess on clouds over mountains with drawn sword, faceing 2 warriors, on the way to heaven. Representations of the goddess Xiwangmu can be found in many graves, because hoped was, that after death she would lead the soul into the paradise of the immortals.Interesting in terms of history, since the empress widow and regent, Xixi (1835 - 1908), started the boxer rebellion in the spring / summer of 1900.Feine Schnitzerei. Wohl dargestellt Xiwangmu, China, alt um 1900.44 cm x 30 cm. Hartholz. G?ttin auf Wolken über Bergen mit gezogenem Schwert, gegen 2 Krieger, auf dem Weg zum Himmel. In vielen Gr?bern findet man Darstellungen der G?ttin, da man hoffte, sie würde nach dem Tod die Seele in das Paradies der Unsterblichen geleiten.
