Finely potted of baluster form with ovoid body, surmounted by a tall columnar neck flaring to a trumpet mouth with rolled lip, covered all over with a lustrous black glaze, profusely splashed with russet 'partridge-feather' markings, the inside of the mouth with eight splashes emanating from the rim, the glaze falling short of the foot revealing the buff stone ware, 10 in high.
