Wong Lo was a full time Chinese Ink and Acrylic artist based in Hong Kong, specialising in the illustration of mountain scenery. He studied oil and watercolour painting from Aw Tee Hong, an artist from Singapore during 1958 for a period of 2 years. In 1978, he received teaching from the Lingnan master - Yang Shanshen on Chinese Ink painting. Wong’s first solo exhibition was held in Hong Kong Arts Centre, Hong Kong in 1982, the next one in the American Library, Hong Kong in 1986.
Starting from the 2000s, he became particularly active in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, where he had held 4 solo exhibitions at places such as the Central Academy of Art & Soka Gakkai (2001), Shian's Fine Art (2007, 2009) and City Art Gallery (2012). Wong also participated in various group exhibitions in Hong Kong as well as other countries around the world.
