Zhong Zhengchuan is a well-known veteran local Chinese ink artist, and has made tremendous contributions towards the local Chinese art education. He currently takes on multiple roles, including the President of Malaysia Chinese Ink Painting Society; the Honorary Advisor (former President) of the Calligraphy Society of Malaysia; the Fellow of Chinese Calligraphy/Painting Society of Singapore & Singapore Institute of Chinese Calligraphy/Painting; the Honorary Advisor of the Chinese Painting & Calligraphy Society of China; the Vice-President of Hong Kong World Artist Association and so on. His students are dispersed all over the world, and he has participated in over 10 solo/group exhibitions.
钟正川老师是本地著名的资深水墨画家,对推动本土水墨艺术教育贡献极大。他现为马来西亚水墨画协会总会长,并担任多项职位,如马来西亚书艺协会顾问(前任总会长)、新加坡书法家协会及新加坡书法研究院院士、中国书画家研究会顾问、香港世界艺术家联合会副总会长等等。他如今桃李满天下,并参与过十余多场个人/联展。
