A beautiful painting, oil on canvas, of children playing "Ring Around The Rosie" by Francis T. Kalmbach. 48" X 36" /// 58" X 46" Museum quality framed. Francis "Paco" T. Kalmbach was born in Shreveport, Louisiana, USA. He attended Washington and Lee University in Virginia and received a degree in architecture from Tulane University in New Orleans, He practiced architecture, with interruptions for art studies at Queen's College, Oxford, England, and independent studies in Paris, France. In 1977, Kalmbach moved to San Miguel de Allende, Mexico, to devote his full attention to painting. He has won many juried shows and numerous awards, with showings of his work in Europe, China, the United States, Mexico and Central and South America. His works are represented by many prestigious galleries in America, Europe and Asia and is represented in many international collections, public, private and corporate. Born on November 4, 1935. Died on February 9, 2016. His works are sure to increase in value.
