Egypt, Late Dynastic Period, 26th to 31st Dynasty, ca. 664 to 332 BCE. A fine example of a mold-formed faience ushabti standing in mummiform atop an integral rectangular plinth. Lustrous glaze of a light blue hue covers the entire figure, and a column of black-painted hieroglyphs descends the legs and lower body.
