Greece, Hellenistic Period, ca. late 4th to 1st century CE. A unique, ornate pair of gilt bronze earrings, each with a form reminiscent of a shark tooth, with raised baubles which may have once held inlays. A hinged loop, held in place by pins at either side, is at the top of each "tooth" form. Quality of gilt: 85% or equivalent to 20K+.
