of shaped form with applied polychrome enamels, gilt embellishment and a raised border ending in a scroll, the central scene depicting a crane in flight over foliage, the underside with underglazed blue decorations and Chenghua six character mark, 22 cm wide x 19 cm deep, together with a Kangxi export?porcelain bowl decorated with the Imari palette depicting phoenixes and flowers, the underside with underglazed blue 'Yu' (jade) mark, and with paper labels reading 'Helen Espir Collection' and 'Geoffrey Waters London (...)', 7 cm high x 14 cm wide.
