The large dried fish carved from lightly colored wood and accentuated with black lacquer. A fish market scene carved with an incredibly sense of realism. The scaly body is desiccating with different levels of elevation on the surface. With a large inlaid ivory tablet reading 本鮭, relating to the origin of the salmon.
