A FAMILLE VERTE BISCUIT PORCELAIN FIGURE OF GUANYIN, KANGXI
China, 1661-1722. The bodhisattva of compassion seated in rajalitasana and wearing an elaborate flowing robe finely painted in famille verte colors, the hair tied in a top-knot is skillfully incised and covered by a cowl.
Condition: Some wear and minor chipping as well as firing flaws and intentional crackling.
